FLOWERS have been left at the side of a road where a pedestrian died in a crash.
A 74-year-old man from Poole died following the collision with a motorcycle outside Turbary Retail Park in Ringwood Road on Sunday.
Despite the efforts of police and paramedics, the man died at the scene.
A message left with the bouquet said: "Sunday afternoon changed my life forever. I'm sorry there was nothing we could do. I wish, pray and hope you're at peace."
The rider of the motorcycle – a 50-year-old man from Ferndown – sustained serious injuries and was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The 74-year-old man has not yet been formally identified.
