POLICE were called to a road in Poole on Thursday after reports a firearm had been discovered.
Officers were called to Chalbury Close in Poole at 9.39am following reports a possible firearm had been discovered at a house.
A spokesperson said officers discovered the item was a lawfully held gas-powered BB gun.
No offences were identified.
Advice was given to the occupants.
