Nominations are now rolling in for the second annual Daily Echo Proud to Care Awards.
We are hearing some amazing stories of individuals, businesses and care homes going out of their way to improve the lives of others.
The deadline to make a nomination has been extended to Tuesday October 23 to ensure you have chance to nominate your loved ones.
There are two ways to nominate – complete the form and email to Proud To Care, or print out the form and return to Daily Echo Proud to Care Awards 2018, Daily Echo, Richmond Hill, Bournemouth, BH2 6HH.
With thirteen different categories this is a great opportunity to pay tribute to the fantastic care work being carried out in the local area.
Judging will take place once the nominations have closed, and those that are being considered for an award will be showcased in a special Daily Echo feature.
Shortlisted nominees and their guests will be invited to the awards ceremony and lunch taking place at the Marsham Court Hotel on Thursday November 15 where the winners will be announced, and trophies awarded.
Daily Echo Editor Andy Martin said: “We are delighted to be hosting these very special awards for the second year.
“The dedication of all those involved in caring for others, whether they be professionally trained or informal or family carers is amazing and these awards are a tribute to them and all they do. Where on earth would we be without them? We heard some wonderful and inspiring stories in last year’s awards. I know it will be the same this year.”
