A POPULAR food delivery service has celebrated its third birthday in Bournemouth and revealed the post popular food for residents.
On-demand courier Deliveroo has found American food is the most popular from its offering, with Saturday at 6.13pm being the peak order time.
The most popular dishes included smokey barbecue burger from Chicken & Blues, cheeseburger from Five Guys, cod and chips from Sea-Bird Fish & Chips, Mexican fries from Taco Bell and the boneless banquet from KFC.
Since its launch in the town three years ago, more than 100 restaurants have signed up to the platform, creating work for more than 130 people.
Independent restaurants make up with 60 per cent of the Bournemouth offering from Deliveroo.
Dan Warne, managing director of Deliveroo in UK and Ireland said: “Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Bournemouth over the past three years means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work.”
