A FORMER Corfe Hills schoolgirl who is celebrating success in X Factor says she will use her new-found fame to campaign for disabled children.

Nikki Wills, 23, and band Fallen Angelz got through the first round of X Factor auditions after winning praise from judges for their "great energy".

Now the four-strong group which also includes Bobbi Amey, 24, from Liverpool, Mollie King, 20 and Rachelle Glover, 22 both from Surrey, have set their sights on becoming the new Spice Girls.

She describes their music as "a quirky pop mix" with a street image akin to American group TLC.

Stageschool graduate, Nikki, said: "We are like the new Spice Girls. We got four yeses from the judges, but you only need three. They said we have got a great presence, we have great energy and that we are a really tight group.

"We got through the first round of auditions and now we are at Boot Camp. People will have to watch and see how it goes. It's very exciting.

"I sat there on Saturday night knowing we were going to be on and it was really tense but it all turned out well in the end."

Nikki is no stranger to showbusiness success having gained a presenter slot on Sky channel 192 "Party People" and a stint in Fame at the West End.

She regularly comes back to visit her parents who live in Corfe Mullen and disabled brother Graeme, who lives in Poole.

She added: "My ultimate goal is to use my publicity to be a patron for charities like Dorset Scope. Just because I've been on X Factor people listen to me and I want to use that publicity to do charity work.

"My first charity work would be for Dorset Scope because I have a disabled brother. I was round Camden Market with my mum and sister and people were like you were on telly last night' and market traders were shouting down the aisles. I was dressed in this little dress and not in my band clothes.

"Everyone was so nice and so enthusiastic and lots of old friends have contacted me on Facebook."
