NATIONWIDE Building Society has moved to new premises in Bournemouth town centre.

Its former branch near Horseshoe Common has closed with the new one opening yesterday (Mon)in Old Christchurch Road, near The Square.

There will be an official opening on Saturday September 15.

The branch has been fitted with Nationwide’s new flagship 4C design, providing a spacious banking hall and open plan layout. The branch also has a mix of spaces for different conversations, whether it’s using the open plan seating area or a quiet chat in one of the four private pods.

Members have access to the latest technology, including free wi-fi, access to Nationwide’s Internet Bank via three iPads, and Nationwide Now technology1, the Society’s high-definition video link providing access to specialist advisers.

Mandy Beech, branch director at Nationwide Building Society, said: "I’m pleased that we have been able to acquire a larger site on Old Christchurch Road, as this means we can serve members in a better way, with lots more space than before.

"As well as the six meeting rooms we have, our Nationwide NOW technology means we can serve members who pop in without an appointment, and still speak to an advisor."
