A MAN who drove at more than 100 miles per hour on the A35 has been given five points on his licence.
Clive Marshallsay appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on Wednesday after a conviction for speeding.
The 54-year-old, who lives in Spinney Close, Ringwood, drove a Volkswagen at a speed far in excess of the 70mph limit on November 25 2017.
His speed, which was recorded at Puddletown, was 105mph.
Magistrates also fined Marshallsay £1,038 and ordered him to pay a £103 surcharge and £85 costs.
As reported in the Daily Echo, Nicholas Curtis, 58, clocked up 117.7mph in his Jaguar on the Spur Road earlier this year.
Curtis, Woolslope Road, West Moors, admitted exceeding the speed limit during a hearing last week. A district judge heard he already has six points on his licence from prior speeding offences.
He was fined £750 and ordered to pay £85 and the £75 victim surcharge. He was disqualified from driving for six months.
