TWO people had to be taken to hospital after a crash in Purbeck this afternoon.
The A352 Worgret Hill was closed between the A351 Purbeck School, Wareham, and B3070 and Puddletown Road.
The two-car crash involved a Ford Fiesta and a Skoda Fabia.
Ambulance attended the scene The ambulance service was called at 11.34am.
One person had an arm injury and the other sustained back and chest injuries.
Two ambulances and one rapid response vehicle attended the scene.
Both patients were taken to Poole Hospital for treatment.
The fire service was also called as one person was trapped.
Recovery had to be arranged for the vehicles and the road closure was lifted at around 1.35pm.
