A YOUNG woman who was almost three times the drink-drive limit has been banned from driving for two years.

Chloe Gregory, of Barrows Lane, Sway, was arrested driving a Mini Cooper in Merley House Lane, Wimborne on July 7.

The 24-year-old admitted driving with 101 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath at Poole Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. The limit is 35mg.

She was sentenced to a community order and 80 hours of unpaid work, barred from the roads for 24 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge and costs.

On the same day, Lucsz Rokita was banned from driving for 36 months after admitting driving a Ford Focus in Wortley Road, Highcliffe on July 8 with 47mg of alcohol in breath. The 37-year-old, of Kilworth Court in Andover, Hants, also admitted driving without an appropriate licence or insurance. Magistrates fined him £280.

Frederick Morgan, 27 and of Rochester in Kent, also admitted driving a Ford Focus in Ringwood Road, Ferndown on July 7 with 68mg of alcohol in 100ml breath. He was banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay a £480 fine.
