BRAVE 'soles; are being sought to walk over hot coals and razor sharp glass in the name of charity.

Forest Holme Hospice is looking for fundraisers to take part in its Fire & Ice Walk at Cobham Sports and Social Club in Wimborne on Thursday October 11, to raise money for local people affected by a life-limiting illness.

The event is being hosted by Scott Bell, of UK Fire Walk, one of the world's leading experts on walking over fire, who will train participants with confidence boosting techniques before they take on the challenge.

Scott is twice holder of the Guinness World Record for the 'Greatest Fire Walking Distance’ and has led thousands of people across fire and glass.

Forest Holme in Poole provides end-of-life care and support to more than 1,000 people each year with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses such as Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s, heart disease and respiratory illness across Poole, Wimborne and The Purbecks.

To sign up for the event, registration costs £15 and there is a suggested fundraising target of £80. Register by calling the fundraising team on 01202 670644, email fundraising@forestholmehospice.org.uk or visit fireicewalkfh.eventbrite.co.uk
