POLICE investigating a 10-man brawl outside a Corfe Mullen pub have made an arrest.
As reported in the Daily Echo, a 49-year-old man suffered serious head and neck injuries after he was knocked unconscious in the car park of The Dorset Soldier on Saturday, July 7.
The attack happened around half-an-hour after a large fight broke out. Police rushed to the pub in Wareham Road after receiving reports of a brawl but the fight had already broken up and no offences were reported.
Both the fight and the later attack are believed to be linked.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been released under investigation.
