RESIDENTS of 500 Bournemouth homes were left without power for more than an hour this morning due to a fault on the electricity network.
Those affected were in the Ensbury Park, Moordown, Muscliff and Redhill areas and the power was off from 7.27am until 8.39am.
A spokesman for provider Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks said engineers are currently investigating the cause of the power cut.
He added: "We would like to apologise to the customers who were affected and assure them that our engineers did everything they could to restore supplies as safely and as quickly as possible."
