POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to find a teenager last seen in Bournemouth more than eight weeks ago.

Erlind Gjana, aged 16, was last seen at an address in Norwich Avenue where he was staying at around 5.30pm on Thursday, April 26.

It is believed the Albanian teenager initially travelled to London before going on to Birmingham and he may still be in the West Midlands area.

Erlind is described as white, five feet seven inches tall, of slim build and with short dark blond hair.

Police Constable Toni Broadbent, of Dorset Police, said: “While we have no information to suggest Erlind has come to harm, he has not been seen for some time now and we want to ensure that he is safe and well.

“We are continuing to carry out enquiries in our efforts to locate Erlind and I am appealing to anyone who has any information as to his whereabouts, or who sees someone matching the description given, to contact police.

“I would also appeal directly to Erlind to make contact with us so we know you are safe.”
