A DOG which ran out onto the A338 Wessex Way causing a crash has been reunited with its owner.
The Saluki brindle, believed to be a rescue dog called Kia, escaped a garden in Ashley Road in Boscombe on June 19 and wasn’t wearing a collar at the time.
Police were called to the A338 shortly after 6pm on Tuesday following a three-car collision which blocked the road northbound.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said one person was treated for minor injuries.
The dog was seen at Queens Park Golf Course and was eventually found at Kings Park on Wednesday after members of the public attempted to catch it.
The RSPCA also attended and the dog was taken to the vets for a check up.
