A POPULAR centre in the New Forest has launched three new adventure activities ahead of the peak summer season.
Avon Tyrrell in the New Forest National Park is set to offer stand up paddleboarding, geocaching and a newly revamped adventure course.
The centre, which is owned by national charity UK Youth, has pledged its commitment to broadening its portfolio of outdoor learning opportunities to allow children and young people to experience, learn and develop new skills and interests..
Last year, 23,000 children and young people visited Avon Tyrrell, engaging in outdoor learning opportunities in a safe and accessible environment that helped them experience, learn and develop.
Matt Prince, chief instructor, said: “The new activities will bring a different dynamic to the range of programmes we offer, building on young people’s development in an innovative, engaging way. The team of instructors are excited to start leading these in time for summer.”
