A BARBERSHOP burgled overnight in Somerford is just two doors down from the scene of an armed robbery the day before.
Staff at Vinnies Barbers discovered the break-in earlier this morning.
Dorset Police told the Echo a window had been forced at the business, at a small parade of shops on Somerford Road, Christchurch, and the till had been stolen.
Officers were called to the scene at 6.46am and no arrests have been made so far.
On Thursday morning armed police were called to the same parade of shops following a knifepoint robbery at McColls.
Officers from the neighbourhood policing team have launched extra patrols in the area to reassure residents.
