POLICE were called to an address in Parkstone after bones were discovered in a garden.
Dorset Police received a call at around 3.30pm on Saturday.
Officers and crime scene investigators attended the property in Albert Road to assess the bones, which had been found in the ground.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "They were removed and have been reviewed by a forensic anthropologist who has confirmed them to be animal bones."
