RESIDENTS of rural Dorset are urged to have their say on crime in the countryside as part of a national survey.
The last National Rural Crime Survey revealed the huge financial cost of crime to communities, as well as issues of "chronic under-reporting", Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner Martyn Underhill said.
As a result of the survey, which was taken three years ago, a series of recommendations were made.
Residents will now be polled for their opinions again.
Mr Underhill said: "I hope that anyone living or working in a rural community will spare a few minutes to complete our survey.
"It will provide a clear picture of what has improved, what challenges remain and what more government, police forces and organisations can do."
