A BANK in Bournemouth town centre was closed yesterday due to a "technical incident".
Customers were unable to access the NatWest branch on Old Christchurch Road.
A paper sign posted on a metal board outside the entrance to the bank said: "Due to a technical incident we are unable to open today."
The sign advertised alternative branches in the town centre including Royal Bank of Scotland, which is further along Old Christchurch Road, or NatWest banks in Upper Parkstone, Poole, Southbourne, Castlepoint and Christchurch.
It also said customers could access their accounts online and businesses collecting pre-ordered change should go to RBS in Bournemouth.
The Daily Echo asked NatWest to provide information on the closure, but at the time of going to print no response had been received.
