A TEENAGER'S jaw was broken in an "unprovoked attack" outside a Bournemouth eatery at the weekend.
The 16-year-old was standing near McDonald's in Old Christchurch Road at 3.25am on Saturday, April 7 when he was punched in the face by a man.
The boy was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
Detective Constable Honor McAdam, of Bournemouth CID, said: “This was an unprovoked attack and I have been carrying out a number of initial enquiries, including CCTV trawls of the area, in order to identify those involved.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the altercation, and has not yet spoken to police, to please come forward.
“If you know who was responsible, or have any information which may assist me in my investigation, I would urge you to please get in touch.”
