WHAT are moo looking at?
This grumpy looking Highland cow may have been having a bad hair day or perhaps just fancied some alone time when it was spotted laying amongst the heather in the New Forest.
The picture was captured by Echo reader David Lynes from Bearwood.
Highland cows are recognisable for their long horns and long wavy coats.
They have a double coat of hair with an oily outer layer covering a downy undercoat, which makes them well suited to cold and wet weather conditions.
They originated in the Highlands and Hebrides Islands of Scotland and were first mentioned in the 6th century AD.
