A FLOOD warning will be in force for Swanage over the next three days.
The Environment Agency says high tides from Thursday until Saturday will be accompanied by strong easterly winds of up to force eight.
The warning states flooding is "expected" around Swanage Bay and "immediate action" is required.
It adds: "There is some uncertainty in the forecast and as a precautionary measure temporary flood defences will be deployed at The Square and by the stone pier at Swanage."
