Police have issued a warning to drivers after a car ended up in the river at Longham.
Officers were called to the River Stour at Longham Bridge on Christmas Day morning around 10.30am.
A Toyota Yaris had come off the road and ended up in the water by the bridge.
It had been heading in the direction of Longham from Bearwood.
The 25-year-old female driver from the Poole area and a 26-year-old passenger were uninjured.
Specialist recovery was requested to remove the car from the river.
One lane of the road was blocked while the car was taken from the water.
A spokesperson for Dorset Traffic Police warned drivers: "The roads are slippery, please drive appropriately."
