A MAN is in hospital after a stabbing in Springbourne.
Police were called at 11.10am on Saturday to reports a man had been stabbed at an address in Windham Road, Bournemouth.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police say his condition is not believed to be life threatening.
Cordons are in place to allow investigators to examine the scene.
A 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm with intent. He is assisting police with their enquiries.
The police helicopter was called as part of a search, and was seen over parts of Boscombe, Springbourne and West Cliff.
