GOADSBY'S land department has recently received instructions from The Greensleeves Homes Trust to sell by informal tender a former nursing home situated in Swanage, which has a price guide of £1.5 million.
The site occupies an area of approximately 0.22 acres, boasts excellent sea views and is located right in the heart of the popular seaside town.
Residential developments manager, Laura Jacobs, said: "Although no planning permission has been sought, we are of the opinion that it may be possible to obtain planning consent for redevelopment to residential flats."
She added: "Swanage remains an extremely popular place in which to live and as brand new properties are always in short supply we would anticipate a high degree of interest being shown in this outstanding development opportunity."
Tenders need to be submitted before 12pm on Friday July 27 and further information on the development can be obtained by contacting Goadsby's western land team on 01305 264500.
