A ROAD in Bournemouth was partially blocked after a car overturned in a crash.

Emergency services were called to Queen's Park Avenue on Monday afternoon following the collision between two vehicles.

The incident caused heavy traffic in the area, which was already congested due to the Bank Holiday crowds in Bournemouth.

Police were called to the scene at 2.15pm. A spokesperson for Dorset Police said officers were dealing with road traffic offences.

Firefighters from Redhill Park and Springbourne were also called and made the scene safe.

They added: "Crews cared for two casualties in their 20s until the arrival of ambulance."
