THERE'S still time to register for a charity place at the Bournemouth Marathon Festival with Macmillan Cancer Support, the official charity partner of the event.
Amy Spreadbury who completed the half marathon in 2015 and in 2016 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, will this year run the 5k, 10k and the half marathon.
Amy, director of sales at the Village Hotel in Bournemouth said: “Cancer has affected so many of my loved ones. Sadly, I have lost two relatives this year and three other people close to me have been diagnosed with cancer.
"Luckily, we have had family and friends to support us, but not everyone does. So that is why I am running for Macmillan Cancer Support because nobody has to suffer alone, and with the fantastic work Macmillan do, nobody has to."
The Bournemouth Marathon Festival takes place from Saturday, October 7 to Sunday, October 8. To register, visit bournemouthmarathon.com
