A POPULAR indoor shopping village at Poole Quay could soon be serving alcohol.
Quayside Emporium at Hennings Wharf has applied for a new license so they can serve alcohol from 10am until midnight seven days a week.
The business has also applied for a late night refreshment licence and a music licence from 2pm to 10pm.
There is a coffee shop located in the emporium which serves tea, coffee and soft drinks as well as food.
Currently Quayside Emporium opens from 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday and from 9.30am on weekends.
A council spokesman explained that if the emporium is granted a licence it could change its opening hours to match this.
Quayside Emporium failed to respond to any requests to comment from the Echo.
