AN Olly Murs fan was surprised to see the singer enjoying a night out in Bournemouth – the same evening of his cancelled Kings Park concert.
He was heading up to the Hilton Hotel’s ‘sky bar’ on Saturday when he was spotted by the fan, who was one of thousands left out of pocket after the gig was called off.
The fan, who wishes to remain anonymous, had a photo taken with the X Factor star.
She said: “We were just coming out of the lift that takes you up to the sky bar when we spotted him.
“He was trying to hide among the group he was with, but when my husband approached him, he agreed to a quick photo. There were other people taking photos of him too. As soon as the picture was taken, he went straight into the lift.
“It’s a bit weird he was in Bournemouth,” she added.
The promoter behind the failed gig, Stephen McManus, was also spotted dining at the Hilton that day, as previously reported in the Echo, although he was not seen with Murs.
