A 45-YEAR-OLD man died of multiple injuries after being struck by a train which was travelling at 85mph, an inquest heard.
CCTV images show Christopher Neil Reeves of Elms Road, Bournemouth arriving at Hinton Admiral station alone just after midnight on Sunday July 23 and laying on the track, Dorset Coroner Rachael Griffin was told.
The Bournemouth inquest heard a train driver was aware he had struck an item.
Emergency services were called at 2pm to reports of a body and Mr Reeves, a single and unemployed man, was identified by his bus pass and disabled rail card.
The coroner was told there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and the inquest was adjourned until February next year.
