FOR a 73-year-old her endurance as a performer and entertainer is pure class.
Gladys Knight gave us a performance at BIC last Saturday night worth the four-hour drive from Kent. Midnight Train to Georgia and other numbers she’s performed a thousand times were delivered with a big soulful voice that burst with passion and certainly didn’t feel like Groundhog Day to us.
My pal Alison and I travelled to Bournemouth from the Medway Towns in Kent on Friday evening and were also lucky enough to watch the Bourne Free parade as it passed our seafront hotel on Saturday morning.
Bournemouth is stimulating.
You have a fabulous town centre with a diverse selection of shops, restaurants and bars and we also met some lovely people.
Definitely coming back!
