A POOLE grandfather was one of two people killed in a crash on the M3 last week.
Michael James, who was 77 and of Birkdale Court in Broadstone, and Susan Curtis, who was 67 and of Malvern Road in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, both died in the collision.
Emergency services were called to the motorway at 10.15am on Monday, June 5 after three lorries and an Audi were involved in a crash between junctions nine and 10 on the northbound carriageway.
Both Mr James and Ms Curtis were travelling in the Audi.
Mr James's family released a tribute through Hampshire police.
They said: "Suddenly and tragically Mike James was taken from us and leaves behind two sons and two grandchildren.
"Much loved and will be terribly missed by so many."
A 63-year-old man was interviewed under caution in connection with the incident.
He has since been released under investigation.
