LIGHTNING struck Dorset for the second time last night over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Thunder and lightning illuminated the skies around 11.30pm on Sunday night.
It's the second storm to hit the county this Bank Holiday weekend.
Many residents reported being woken up by the thunder and lightning during the early hours of Saturday morning as heavy rain battered the county.
There was a yellow weather warning in place for heavy rain in the area but that has now been removed so this could be the last big storm for a while as forecasters predict a dry and warm week ahead.
