THE body of missing man Tony Leggatt has been found in his caravan near Gillingham.
Mr Leggatt, 84, from Wivelsfield Green in Sussex, had been on a solo caravanning trip in the West Country.
His body was found in his caravan at Silton, near Gillingham, at 11am today.
According to police there don't appear to be any suspicious circumstances and the matter has been referred to the coroner.
Mr Leggatt had not been heard from for over a week.
Police have thanked the public across Sussex, Dorset and Avon and Somerset for the "fantastic response" to the appeal.
And particular thanks went to the two Dorset PCSOs who saw the appeal and took it upon themselves to check their local sites.
