TICKETS for a special ‘open kitchen’ event at KFC have sold out in less than 24 hours.

The fast food giant is throwing open its doors to members of the public across the country this Saturday.

Eateries in Bournemouth, Poole and Winton are among those taking part.

Loyal chicken fans will get access all areas so they can see how the famous finger lickin' chicken is made.

As well as a behind the scenes tour, they will have a go at breading the chicken and building their own burgers.

Participants will also get a free box meal which includes the burger they’ve created, a piece of Original Recipe chicken, fries, drink and a side plus a KFC apron and hat.

The KFC website says: “On Saturday 6 May we're opening our kitchens to you - our loyal chicken fans - so you can access all areas and see for yourself how we make our famous finger lickin' good chicken.

“There's a behind the scenes tour, the chance to build your own burger and free food and merch.”

However, if you were hoping to find out Colonel Sanders' secret recipe you’ll be disappointed.

The website states: “There's only one secret we won't be sharing and that's Colonel Sanders' secret recipe.”

Tickets were released at 3pm on Tuesday on a first come first serve basis.

Previous KFC Open Kitchen event tickets were snapped up in under 30 minutes.
