A VISION for Christchurch is needed. What do I need to hear from any leader of Christchurch council?
I want them to make an already great place into an even greater place to live i.e. Christchurch - where time is even more pleasant.
Perhaps for a business like Bournemouth council, financial returns with both their gains and losses is the way forward for them.
But I feel that for Christchurch the critical question is “ how effectively do we deliver on our mission and make a distinctive impact relative to our resources”.
As I feel the ethos of both Christchurch and Bournemouth councils seem to be at variance, I believe that we do need a referendum over the unitary council plans to resolve the future direction of Christchurch council.
