A SCHOOL is closed following an early morning fire in an office.
Pupils at West Moors Middle School have been sent home for the day following the incident at 6.33am.
A Dorset fire spokesman said crews from Ringwood and Redhill were called to a smell of burning at the school in Heathfield Way.
When they arrived they discovered a fire involving a computer and used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a pressure fan to put it out.
Pupils and their parents have been asked to check the school website for updates as to whether the school will be open tomorrow and Friday.
