A DAD who fears he was "targeted" by a vandal who slashed his car tyres is calling for anyone with information to speak to police.
Ed Baker, who lives in Poole Road in a row known as Frampton Terrace, Upton, heard a noise on the street at around 11.30pm on Sunday, January 30.
He looked through his window and saw a car speed off towards Upton Country Park.
After hearing a hissing noise, he ventured outside and noticed that two of his tyres had been slashed.
Other neighbours heard the commotion but did not see the vandal.
Ed, who has dubbed the offender the "Upton Slasher", said: "It is worrying to think there was an armed criminal just yards from my sleeping children.
"The car is parked right outside my home and lights were on indoors. This coward needs catching.
"The police have said there is nothing more they can do so I’m appealing for anyone who has any information to report it.
"I can think of no-one who would have a motive so it is quite perplexing as I was clearly targeted."
Those with information are urged to call 101, quoting crime number 55170014626.
