A GREAT grandmother who died in a crash in Lymington last month has been named by police.
Margaret Letty, 85, of Grove Road, died at the scene after her green Honda Jazz crashed into a brick wall at the junction of Grove Road and South Grove on November 28 at around 9.25am.
Residents reported seeing the air ambulance landing on nearby grassland to attend the incident.
Paying tribute to Mrs Letty, her family issued the following words through Hampshire Police: “Margot, as she was known to all who knew her, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
“She will be missed by everyone who knew her and will remain in our hearts forever.”
