THE start point for a Christmas 10k run in Christchurch has changed.
The Christchurch 10k, which usually starts in Burton, will now begin at East Christchurch Sports and Social Club in Grange Road.
It takes place this Sunday.
It comes after concerns were raised by Burton Parish Council after problems with parking and toilet facilities in 2015.
Runners receive a Christmas pudding following the race.
The race details were discussed at Burton Parish Council in October, where members raised concerns about the event management plan which had been submitted.
The issues related specifically to parking in Salisbury Road and the small number of toilet facilities proposed.
A notice on the organiser's website warns participants about the venue change, and urges them not to park on roads in Burton.
It has been organised by Christchurch Runners.
