FIRE crews have cordoned off a business in Hamworthy which has been evacuated due to a ‘chemical incident.’
It was called into the fire service at 12.20pm and is believed to involve Autoclave and Industrial Controls Ltd in Allens Lane.
A spokesperson for the fire service said that they have two fire engines, an incident support unit and an officer on the scene.
They added that two firefighters are using breathing apparatus and gas type suits to enter the building.
