Emergency service have been called to a multi-vehicle crash on the A31.
The incident happened around 1.20pm this afternoon at the Merley Roundabout heading eastbound towards Ringwood.
It is believed that at least five vehicles are involved in the collision including a white Mercedes van, a red Vauxhall Corsa and a green Vauxhall Corsa.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: “Ambulance have been called to the scene but there doesn’t appear to be any serious injuries.
“The road is partially blocked but there are no road closures in place and as a result traffic in the area is heavy.”
A spokesman from South Western Ambulance Service said: "There were two casualties. A male who suffered a back injury and a female who suffered a cut to her face.
"Both were taken to Poole Hospital for treatment."
