HAPPY LANDINGS: The Red Arrows at Bournemouth airport
THE Red Arrows made a brief appearance in town this weekend but Bournemouth residents will have to wait a bit longer for a full display.
They will be back on August 17 for a proper show, but eagle-eyed sky watchers may have spotted them zoom by on Saturday, on their way to displays at Fareham and the Isle of Wight.
Bournemouth Airport served as their base on Saturday, so staff and visitors to the airport got a chance to see a few aerial acrobatics as the RAF's finest came and went.
