THE crowds that lined the streets of Corfe Mullen on Saturday got a feast of decoration from this year's Carnival Parade.
Music and colourful floats were just part of the entertainment at this year's carnival, which offered everything from the traditional coconut shy to a range of classic cars.
A crowd of around 5,000 enjoyed an afternoon of displays, stalls and majorettes.
Charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support, Coping with Chaos and the Corfe Mullen Village Hall all benefited from a week of events, including Tuesday's 5k fun run.
Spokesman Paul Harrison said: "It's been another fantastic year, and a really successful week for everyone involved.
"The quiz night and grand draw were particularly popular, and it looks like we might surpass previous records with our collection.
"We want to say a huge thank you to all sponsors, helpers, prize donors, programme advertisers and stall holders."
Carnival Week has been extended this year to incorporate an Evening of Musical Entertainment with Dancing, which is being held at the village hall on Saturday June 16.
