A NUMBER of Borough of Poole services will be unavailable from 6pm today, Friday, May 13, until 4pm on Sunday, May 15.
Residents won't be able to visit council websites, including online forms and booking services, as "essential electrical safety work" takes place.
Affected sites are poole.gov.uk, jobsatpoole.com, poolemuseum.co.uk, yourphp.org.uk and jobsatbournemouth.com
Council phone lines will also be affected but the out-of-hours emergency contact number - 0800 506050 - will not be affected.
The work will also affect the electronic variable message signs in the town.
The signs are used to direct traffic over either Twin Sails Bridge or Poole Bridge when the other is raised.
Both bridges will operate as normal over the weekend - however, the signs will not be in operation to direct drivers to the appropriate bridge.
All variable message signs in the town centre will be covered up throughout the weekend to help avoid any confusion.
Andrew Flockhart, Borough of Poole's chief executive, said: "We hope that by carrying out this essential maintenance at the weekend we will minimise disruption to our residents.
"We would encourage road users to exercise caution while the variable message signs are not working and will ensure that the work is completed as soon as is practically possible.
"We apologise for any inconvenience or delays caused by this work.”
