FIVE fire crews were sent to a blaze at a central Bournemouth flat this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Buckingham Mansions apartment block, Bath Road, at 12.15pm following reports of a kitchen fire.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service spokesperson said that an aerial platform was used to reach the affected flat, but that the flames had been extinguished prior to the fire crews’ arrival.
