A MAN has been rescued after becoming trapped in a former police cell.
Firefighters were called to the incident in Argyle Road, Swanage, at around 1pm today.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said the rescue took under an hour, but that hydraulic rescue equipment had to be used to free the man.
The cell is in a former police station. It is understood the property is now privately owned.
