RESIDENTS of this cottage in Churchill Road in Parkstone woke up to find one wall of the property had collapsed overnight during the stormy weather.
A chimney to one side of the building appears to have given way, leaving a gaping hole and a pile of rubble several metres wide on the driveway.
The detached double-fronted house, which is currently let to tenants, was still occupied this morning.
A tenant, who didn’t want to be named, seemed unconcerned.
He said the rooms didn’t appear damaged on the inside and the matter was being dealt with via the letting agents Meridian.
