POLICE have arrested a man on suspicion of driving offences following an alleged hit-and-run collision in Corfe Mullen.
A male cyclist suffered serious injuries during a collision with a car in Wimborne Road, outside the Lambs Green Inn, at 12.31pm on Sunday December 20.
The cyclist, in his 50s, is said to be in a serious condition in Poole Hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said a 22-year-old Poole man has been detained and is currently assisting officers with their inquiries.
