THERE are severe delays on the railways this morning after a person was hit by a train.
South West Trains reports that although all lines are now open again, there are still residual delays following the incident at Wimbledon.
The problems are affecting all routes into London Waterloo and are expected to last until 2.30pm.
In a tweet, the firm said: "Please use all space available on our trains this morning. We have declassified 1st class to give you more space onboard."
Tickets for travel on SWT services are being accepted Southern Rail, First Great Western and Cross Country trains.
They are also being taken on TFL buses and the London Underground.
